When tragedy strikes because of negligence or a dangerous product, the consequences can last a lifetime. Domenic B. Sanginiti, Jr. has dedicated his career to helping individuals and families rebuild their lives while holding those responsible fully accountable.
A Shareholder with Stark & Stark and a Certified Civil Trial Attorney certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey, Domenic represents victims of catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, complex motor vehicle collisions, construction accidents, and defective product cases. He has built a reputation for taking on technically challenging cases involving complex medical, engineering, and scientific issues—particularly those involving lithium-ion battery explosions and other dangerous consumer products.
Known for meticulous preparation, compelling courtroom advocacy, and a relentless commitment to his clients, Domenic has recovered millions of dollars for injury victims throughout his career. More importantly, he believes every case presents an opportunity to improve safety, change corporate behavior, and prevent the next tragedy.
Representing Victims of Lithium-Ion Battery Injuries Nationwide
As lithium-ion batteries continue to power everything from e-bikes and scooters to power tools, golf carts, consumer electronics, and personal mobility devices, catastrophic battery failures have become one of the fastest-growing product safety concerns in the United States.
Recognizing this emerging danger long before it became national news, Domenic developed one of the country’s most focused practices devoted to lithium-ion battery explosion litigation.
Today, he represents individuals who have suffered death, devastating burn injuries, amputations, facial trauma, spinal cord injuries, and other catastrophic harm caused by defective lithium-ion battery systems. His cases involve complex engineering failures, battery management systems, manufacturing defects, charging systems, and product safety standards.
His work extends well beyond the courtroom. Domenic has become one of the nation’s leading voices educating attorneys, judges, policymakers, and the public about lithium-ion battery safety. He is frequently invited to lecture throughout the United States on battery explosion litigation, product liability, and trial strategy.
Trial Lawyer for Life-Changing Cases
Domenic’s practice is devoted exclusively to representing people whose lives have been permanently altered by negligence. He represents victims of catastrophic motor vehicle collisions, construction accidents, product failures, premises liability, workplace incidents, and wrongful death.
Domenic regularly presents continuing legal education programs across the country for the American Association for Justice, state trial lawyer associations, bar associations, and national legal conferences. He has authored numerous articles in Trial Magazine, Law360, and other publications on product liability, trial advocacy, leadership, and consumer safety.
Domenic serves on the Board of Governors of the American Association for Justice, as Co-Chair of the AAJ PAC Development Committee, an AAJ PAC Trustee, and a member of the AAJ State Relations Task Force. He previously served on the faculty of AAJ’s Deposition College and remains active in the New Jersey Association for Justice and numerous bar associations.
Domenic believes attorneys have an obligation not only to represent injured clients but also to prevent future injuries. He has educated schools, community organizations, lawyers, and the public on distracted driving, vaping safety, lithium-ion battery hazards, and consumer product safety.
Domenic serves on the Boards of CASA for Children of Mercer and Burlington Counties and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mercer County. He also serves as Chairperson of the Mercer County Vincent J. Apruzzese High School Mock Trial Competition and previously served as President of Enable NJ.
Domenic earned his J.D. from Rutgers Law School, his M.B.A. from Drexel University, and his B.S. from Rutgers University. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
