Stark & Stark Shareholder Carin A. O’Donnell was recently elected to the Pennsylvania Association for Justice (PAJ) Board of Directors as Parliamentarian. As Parliamentarian, Ms. O’Donnell will advise as to the rules and procedures of the organization. This role is a one-year term, after which she will ascend the other Board positions until ultimately becoming President of the organization.
Carin O’Donnell is a Shareholder at the law firm of Stark & Stark in the Yardley, PA office. Ms. O’Donnell is a member of the firm’s Accident & Personal Injury Group, where she concentrates her practice in representing individuals seriously injured or killed due to catastrophic personal injuries, construction accidents, motor vehicle and motorcycle accidents, and nursing home neglect and abuse.
The Pennsylvania Association for Justice was founded in 1968 after recognizing the need for a cohesive and effective statewide organization to uphold and defend the Pennsylvania legal system, including trial by jury.
“It is an honor to be recognized by my colleagues as a leader of this organization,” said Ms. O’Donnell. “I look forward to this next chapter of my involvement with the PAJ.”
Additionally, Ms. O’Donnell was appointed co-chair of the PAJ Women Trial Lawyers Committee. Of the committee, she explained, “Our goal with the [Women Trial Lawyers] committee is to serve as a network and resource for women trial lawyers who are interested in leadership roles in PAJ, their firms, politically and in other organizations.”
