Bruce’s client is a 53 year old woman who suffered a traumatic brain injury due to a motor vehicle accident in Asbury Park, NJ. In May of 2017, the client’s vehicle was suddenly struck by a van from behind in a southbound Main Street lane, causing it to hit the vehicle in front of her.
Before the accident, the woman was the highest earner for her family, as an insurance executive. Unfortunately, she has been unable to work since the collision. The accident has affected her spinal cord, nerves, and cognitive functions. This traumatic brain injury leaves the woman with ongoing neck pain, depression, sensitivity to noise, headaches, vomiting, visual disturbances, and more. Psychotherapy and neuro-psychological testing, MRIs, CT scans, and visual therapy has been required.
Mr. Stern has stated: “The victim and her family have endured tremendous suffering. With this settlement, she is able to focus on her rehabilitation and coping with the aftermath of her life-altering accident.”
