Allen M. Silk

Shareholder

Allen M. Silk is a Shareholder and Chair of Stark & Stark's Business Law Department. He works with the tax and legal aspects of business organizations and their owners. He has extensive experience with the initial structuring of companies, the succession planning of their owners, and the ultimate transfer of business ownership and personal wealth to other parties. Mr. Silk also represents a large number of family-owned businesses as an Accredited Estate Planner and is a founding partner of the Rutgers Family Business Forum.

Mr. Silk is a frequent lecturer to state and national groups in the legal, accounting, insurance and financial planning professions. His many business activities include serving as chair of the Mercer County Economic Development Council and as a member of the advisory boards of various financial institutions. Mr. Silk also serves on various not-for-profit boards and is currently the treasurer of The College of New Jersey Foundation and is also president of The Millhill Foundation.
