The case arose when the client was lawfully crossing the street in a marked crosswalk and was struck by a motor vehicle. As a result of the collision, the client sustained serious injuries requiring surgical intervention and an extended hospital stay.
“This resolution reflects the importance of protecting pedestrians and ensuring drivers are held accountable for preventable incidents,” Jordan said. “Our focus was on securing the resources our client needed to recover and move forward after a life-altering event.”
