Stark & Stark is pleased to announce that Michael H. Foster, Esq. and Stephen M. Di Stefano, Esq., both Certified Civil Trial Attorneys and shareholders in the firm’s Accident & Personal Injury Group, recently secured a $5,500,000 settlement on behalf of a man who was seriously injured in a motor vehicle crash. The client sustained significant spinal and orthopedic injuries as well as a traumatic brain injury, and he later developed complex regional pain syndrome as a result of the collision.
“Our client’s life was changed in an instant, and he has worked incredibly hard through a long and difficult recovery,” said Michael H. Foster, Esq. “This settlement cannot undo what he has been through, but it provides the resources he needs for ongoing care and greater security for his future.”
“Cases involving traumatic brain injury and chronic pain conditions require a thorough presentation of how those injuries cause immense suffering and affect every part of a person’s daily life,” added Stephen M. Di Stefano, Esq. “We are grateful our client trusted us to tell his story and to hold the responsible party accountable.”
Michael is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney. He concentrates his practice on personal injury matters involving permanent spinal and orthopedic injuries, head and brain injuries, and serious motor vehicle and commercial vehicle accidents, as well as negligence claims arising from dangerous property conditions.
Stephen also is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney. He represents plaintiffs who have suffered traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other serious harm resulting from automobile crashes, dangerous products, and premises liability matters. In addition to litigating cases and handling jury trials, he negotiates settlements and conducts mediations and arbitrations on behalf of injured clients. He also serves as a court-appointed arbitrator. He is a trustee of the Camden County Bar Association, a member of the Eastern Pennsylvania Leadership Board of the National Arthritis Foundation, and he coaches the Bishop Eustace Preparatory School’s mock trial team.
