Michael J. Jordan

Michael J. Jordan is a Shareholder at Stark & Stark and a member of the firm’s Accident & Personal Injury Group. He devotes his practice to representing individuals and families who have suffered catastrophic injuries or wrongful death, with a focus on truck and commercial motor vehicle crashes, construction site accidents, and other complex cases involving serious, life-changing harm.

Michael brings a unique perspective as a plaintiff’s attorney. His past experience practicing at a large New Jersey defense firm gave him the opportunity to observe firsthand the defense tactics of insurance companies and how they view personal injury cases. Michael leverages this knowledge to obtain full justice on behalf of his injured clients.

Michael’s deep familiarity with the New Jersey Civil Courts further strengthens his advocacy. He served as a judicial law clerk in Mercer County to the Honorable Douglas H. Hurd, P.J.Cv., and the Honorable R. Brian McLaughlin, J.S.C., gaining direct insight into courtroom procedures, judicial expectations, and effective litigation strategy.

A proud product of a large, union family, Michael is deeply committed to protecting the rights of injured workers. He frequently represents union members injured on the job, and remains a dedicated advocate for workplace safety and the well-being of working families across New Jersey.

Michael is an active leader in the legal community. He currently serves as a Trustee and is Co-Chair of both the Membership and Young Lawyers Committees of the Mercer County Bar Association. In recognition of his dedication and contributions, he was honored with the 2021 Young Lawyer of the Year by the Mercer County Bar Association.

Michael lives in Mercer County with his wife and two daughters and is proud to give back to his community. He volunteers as an Attorney-Coach for the Lawrence High School Mock Trial Team. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing ice hockey, and golfing.

Michael earned his J.D. from the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and holds a B.B.A. from Temple University’s Fox School of Business. His courtroom experience, strategic mindset, and unwavering commitment to justice make him a powerful advocate for the seriously injured.
