Christopher Weidman, Esq. Secures $2 Million for Client Catastrophically Injured in Products Liability Case

We are proud to announce a significant legal victory secured by attorney Christopher Weidman, Esq., a dedicated member of our Accident & Personal Injury Group, in a complex New Jersey products liability case involving a spinal cord injury.  Christopher was able to secure a $2 Million settlement on behalf of his client, who sustained life-altering injuries while operating a large piece of machinery in the course of his employment. Christopher and his team brought a claim against the manufacturer of the machine, alleging defective design. Through extensive discovery and expert analysis, we demonstrated that the machine’s design required the operator to work within a known “zone of danger”—an area with a high likelihood of injury.

Importantly, Christopher proved that safer alternative designs existed which positioned the operator outside this hazardous zone. While the manufacturer asserted that the machine was safe and equipped with an adequate safety mechanism, our legal team presented compelling evidence that this mechanism was ineffective and unreliable, as demonstrated by multiple failed tests. This flaw was directly linked to the circumstances of our client’s injury.

This case demanded a rigorous litigation strategy involving numerous depositions, expert testimony, and repeated inspections of the machinery. The outcome reflects our firm’s unwavering commitment to advocating for those harmed by negligent or dangerous product designs.
