Joseph W. Gable, Jr. is a Shareholder and member of the Accident & Personal Injury Group in the Marlton, New Jersey office. Joe represents individuals that have been killed or have suffered spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries and other catastrophic injuries resulting from the negligence of others. Joe also represents clients whose civil rights have been violated, including rights to free speech, rights against unreasonable searches and seizures, excessive force, wrongful arrests and incarceration, New Jersey’s LAD (Law Against Discrimination), and more. Joe has successfully tried cases throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Joe has had articles published in the National Law Review and has been recruited to speak at seminars involving personal injury matters and the laws that affect those cases. Joe also volunteers with South Jersey Legal Services as a part of the pro bono Guardianship Project for Children which aids parents of disabled children who reside in South Jersey with obtaining guardianships prior to their children turning 18 years of age.
Prior to joining Stark & Stark, Joe practiced at a firm in Bucks County, PA, where he represented individuals and businesses in commercial transactions and litigation disputes throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey as well as various federal courts throughout the country. Prior to that, Joe served as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Chris R. Wogan in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, Criminal Division.
Joe was born and raised in Philadelphia by his dad, a plumber, who taught him the value of hard work, and his mother, a nurse, who taught him compassion for those who are suffering. Those lessons have formed Joe’s legal career as one grounded in working hard and fighting for his clients who have been injured and left to deal with the devastation that often follows for those clients and their families. With that hard work and dogged determination, Joe has been able to secure great results for his clients, whether through settlement or verdicts at trial.
Joe graduated from Holy Family University with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and worked in the molecular pathology laboratory at Temple University Hospital before going to law school at Temple University. Joe received his law degree from Temple University. During his time at Temple, he was an editor of the Temple Law Review. Joe is licensed to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Joe lives with his wife, Megan, and their three children in Cinnaminson, New Jersey where he coaches youth soccer and baseball.
