Continuing in its mission to provide its clients innovative legal solutions to meet their needs, Stark & Stark PC, announced today that Susan L. Swatski has joined the firm as a Shareholder and Chair of its Employment and Labor Law Group.
With over twenty years of experience practicing employment law, Susan is a seasoned litigator who provides strategic counsel in complex employment matters. Her practice focuses on protecting employee workplace rights while also advising employers on how to operate workplaces that comply with the law, mitigate risk, and foster respectful and productive environments.
“Susan’s extensive experience in employment law and her ability to guide clients through today’s increasingly complex workplace challenges make her an outstanding addition to our team,” said Michael Donahue, Managing Shareholder of Stark & Stark. “We are excited to welcome her to Stark & Stark and look forward to the value she will bring to our clients and the firm.”
Susan represents high-net-worth individuals, executives, and professionals in a wide range of employment disputes, including matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower protections, restrictive covenants, trade secret misappropriation, wage and hour violations, equal pay issues, family and medical leave, pregnancy discrimination, and unlawful terminations. She also assists clients with negotiating employment contracts and severance agreements and advising on obligations related to restrictive covenants such as non-compete agreements.
“I was drawn to Stark & Stark because of its robust mix of practice groups and industries served,” said Susan. “I’m excited to be able to offer the firm’s full range of legal services to my many clients who often have additional legal needs outside of employment issues.”
In addition to her litigation practice, Susan provides proactive counseling to businesses by conducting workplace investigations, advising on wage and hour and equal pay compliance, drafting workplace policies, and guiding employers on hiring, employee discipline, terminations, workplace accommodations, and other employment-related risk management matters.
Susan, a resident of Pennington, New Jersey, holds a J.D. from Seton Hall School of Law and a B.A. from Susquehanna University.
