Rob Bratman, Esq. Receives Prestigious Legal Award

Stark & Stark Shareholder Rob Bratman, Esq., received the 2023-2024 Professional Lawyer of the Year Award* from the Mercer County Bar Associations New Jersey Commission of Professionalism in the Law. The “Professional Lawyer of the Year” award recognizes attorneys who are respected by their colleagues for their character, competence, and exemplary professional behavior.

On June 12, 2024, the New Jersey State Bar Association held their awards luncheon to recognize the award winners from each of the State’s counties. Rob was presented with the award by the former New Jersey Supreme Court Associate Justice Barry T. Albin.

Rob explained in his own words what “professionalism in the practice of law” means to him:

“Professionalism in the practice of law is defined by how we conduct ourselves and serve our community, not merely by the legal work we perform. It means demonstrating integrity, competence, and respect in every interaction and situation, understanding that our behavior reflects on the entire legal profession. Inspired by the commitment and resilience of our colleagues, we must consistently strive to embody the principles of candor, compassion, and civility toward all parties involved. Through this dedication, we not only advocate effectively for our clients but also uphold the honor and integrity of the legal system. 

Robert Bratman is an expert Civil Trial Attorney as certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey. He is also a member of the firm’s Accident & Personal Injury group, where he represents individuals who have been catastrophically harmed or killed due to the negligence of others.
