Through her neglect, she allowed the grounding system to deteriorate to the point of disintegration. Furthermore, the defendant landlord had never registered the rental unit with the Township of Hopewell, which would have generated a safety inspection as well each time the property was rented to a new tenant. The incident left the client with life-altering injuries and required extensive medical intervention.
