Vicki W. Beyer is an attorney and expert in Workers’ Compensation Law as certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey. She is also the Chair of the Workers’ Compensation practice at Stark & Stark.
Vicki specializes her practice in all matters of workers’ compensation claims, social security disability, and disability pension appeals for public employees before the Office of Administrative Law.
In March 2008, the New Jersey Supreme Court issued a unanimous decision in favor of Vicki’s client, a permanently disabled former New Jersey Corrections Officer. The case, Guadagno v. Board of Trustees, Police and Firemen’s Retirement System, was the first to expand accidental disability retirement compensation under the Police and Firemen’s Retirement Systems to include mental disabilities that arise absent an accompanying physical disability.
Vicki is the chair of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Board on Attorney Certification. She serves as a Pupilage Leader, Treasurer on the Executive Board, and sits on the Curriculum Committee of the Justice James H. Coleman, Jr. New Jersey Workers’ Compensation American Inns of Court. She serves as a member of the NJSBA Workers’ Compensation Section Executive Committee. She serves as the Secretary of the Board of Directors for Literacy New Jersey, which focuses on adult literacy.
