Jacqueline V. McDonald is a Shareholder in the personal injury department specializing in general liability matters.
Ms. McDonald comes to the firm with broad experience in New Jersey State and Federal Courts. Jacqueline has extensive trial experience, having tried dozens of cases to verdict. Prior to the joining the firm, she practiced as a member of the defense bar, giving her valuable insight to the inner workings of defense tactics and how insurance companies make decisions about valuing cases. She also has appellate experience up to and including the United States Supreme Court.
In addition to her experience litigating her own cases in Court, Ms. McDonald was appointed to the roster of civil arbitrators in Camden County in 2005. She also serves as an arbitrator in private arbitration proceedings. She has lectured for the Widener University Paralegal Program, the Insurance Society of Philadelphia, and other industry groups.
Ms. McDonald graduated with honors from Villanova University with a double major in Honors and History, where she was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and Phi Alpha Theta Honor Society for History. She graduated from Rutgers School of Law at Camden in 1995. She was a State Constitutional Law editor on the Rutgers Law Journal. She was a published Contributor to the 1993 Developments in State Constitutional Law Issue on the subjects of Open Courts, Civil Jury Trials, Privacy, Right to Vote, and Victims Rights.
