    Shareholder

    Eric S. Goldberg is a Shareholder at Stark & Stark and member of its Real Estate and Business & Transactional Groups. He focuses on various types of transactional law, with an emphasis in the areas of real estate, land use, and business law.

    Mr. Goldberg represents developers in zoning and planning hearings in municipalities throughout the state of New Jersey and the Eastern and Central portions of Pennsylvania. He appears before municipal, county, and state agencies in obtaining zoning, land development, environmental, redevelopment, and other approvals. He has successfully represented clients seeking land use approvals for various needs including office space, hotels, restaurants, craft distilleries, natural gas fueling stations, auto body repair facilities, religious uses, schools, telecommunications towers, truck stops, and residential subdivisions.

    Mr. Goldberg has represented clients throughout the state of New Jersey as well as Philadelphia, its suburbs, the Pocono and Lehigh Valley areas, and Central Pennsylvania.

    Mr. Goldberg’s real estate practice also includes the representation of purchasers and sellers in the acquisition and sale of real property, as well as landlords and tenants in the leasing of real estate. He negotiates and drafts AIA construction agreements on behalf of contractors and landowners. He also prepares easements and other documentation regarding the development of real estate.

    He serves as a counselor to his business clients, assisting them in the negotiation and drafting of various documents pertaining to financing, employment, and other matters. Mr. Goldberg drafts, negotiates, and reviews licensing and intellectual property agreements, non-compete agreements, and other business/corporate documentation. His practice also concentrates on the regulatory compliance of franchisors and master franchisees, including drafting franchise disclosure documents, state registrations, and compliance with other applicable federal and state laws.
