Stark & Stark is pleased to announce that Shareholder Sherri Warfel and Associate Alex Fajardo have recently joined the firm’s Nursing Home Litigation Group.
Ms. Warfel, a graduate of Rutgers Law School, is a skilled litigator who has tried or settled hundreds of cases during her nearly two decade career. She devotes her practice to representing victims and their families with claims of pressure ulcers, fractures or injuries from preventable falls, infection, abuse, and death while under the care of a nursing or other long-term care facility.
In addition, Mr. Fajardo earned his J.D. from the Widener University Delaware School of Law and is fluent in Spanish. Mr. Farjado concentrates his practice on nursing home malpractice and litigation and other personal injury claims.
“We are very excited about the skills and experience that Ms. Warfel and Mr. Fajardo bring to our firm,” said Managing Shareholder Michael Donahue. “Stark & Stark has demonstrated a commitment to representing the victims of nursing neglect and abuse for many years. With their addition, we have further deepened our bench strength and experience, which will ensure we provide the best possible service to our clients.”
Sherri and Alex are joining Shareholder & Chair Denise Mariani in Stark & Stark’s Nursing Home Litigation Group in the firm’s Lawrenceville office. Nursing home negligence typically includes the failure to provide basic necessities such as water, protection from health and safety hazards, and general appropriate care.
