John L. Laskey is a Shareholder and member of Stark & Stark’s Alternative Dispute Resolution, Banking & Financial Services, Bankruptcy & Creditor’s Rights, Business & Corporate, Collections and Litigation Groups where he concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and mediation. John handles matters in state and federal courts throughout New Jersey. He regularly appears in bankruptcy courts throughout New Jersey, as well as the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, and has been admitted pro hac vice to appear in bankruptcy cases in the District of Delaware and the Southern District of New York.
Throughout his career, John has represented financial institutions and other creditors in foreclosure, replevin, and other enforcement proceedings, as well as in bankruptcy cases and adversary proceedings.
John is qualified pursuant to the New Jersey Court Rules as a mediator and has successfully mediated commercial disputes pending in the Superior Court of New Jersey. He is also an approved mediator for the Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.
John is an active member of the Burlington County Bar Association, where he serves on the Board of Trustees and is Co-Chair of the debtor-creditor-bankruptcy committee. He is also active with the New Jersey State Bar Association and is a member of the bankruptcy and dispute resolution sections.
