Eric S. Goldberg is a Shareholder at Stark & Stark and member of its Real Estate, Telecommunications, Franchise and Distribution, and Business & Corporate Groups. He focuses on various types of transactions, with an emphasis in the areas of real estate and land use, franchise and corporate law.
Mr. Goldberg represents developers in zoning and planning hearings in municipalities throughout the state of New Jersey and the eastern and central portions of Pennsylvania. He appears before municipal, county and state agencies in obtaining zoning, land use, environmental and other approvals. Mr. Goldberg’s real estate practice also includes the representation of purchasers and sellers in the acquisition and sale of real property, as well as landlords and tenants in the leasing of real estate. He negotiates and drafts construction agreements, easements and other documentation regarding the development of real estate.
Mr. Goldberg works with telecommunications clients to devise and implement strategies to develop sites throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He coordinates the efforts of leasing, zoning, engineering and construction experts to erect telecommunications facilities expeditiously and cost effectively. He negotiates, drafts and reviews legal documentation, including leases, addenda to leases, easements and subordination and non-disturbance agreements, and ensures compliance for telecommunications companies with all regulatory agencies such as State Historic Preservation Offices. Mr. Goldberg represents clients at public meetings throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and obtains zoning approvals such as use and dimensional variances, special exceptions and conditional uses, as well as site plan and land development approvals.
Mr. Goldberg’s practice also concentrates on the regulatory compliance of franchisors and master franchisees, including drafting franchise disclosure documents, state registrations and compliance with other applicable federal and state laws. His practice also emphasizes general counseling and guidance for his clients.
His business and corporate practice focuses on the representation of start-up and emerging companies. It includes the drafting of corporate governing documents, partnership agreements, employment agreements and other contracts.
