Practice Development Specialist

Stark & Stark has an immediate opening for a Practice Development Specialist to join the firm’s marketing team in the firm’s Princeton office. This position will be responsible for managing a variety of business development efforts and initiatives including client pitches, responding to RFPs/proposals, conducting research, writing content, and sales pipeline management. Specific responsibilities include:
  1. Competitive intelligence research and reporting.
  2. Drafting client pitches and presentations, responses to requests for proposal, and perform experience collection research aimed at driving new business into the firm.
  3. Website content writing and updating.
  4. Coaching attorneys on best practices to leverage social media for visibility and promotion of attorneys, practices, events and thought leadership.
  5. Implementation and follow-up of practice group and attorney business development plans in conjunction with the Director of Practice Development.
  6. Practice development pipeline tracking and reporting.
  7. Dashboard reporting of practice group key performance indicators from the firm’s various database systems.
  8. Represent the firm at seminars, events, conferences and tradeshows, as may be required or assigned. This includes managing exhibit booth set-up, staffing, and meaningfully engaging with clients and prospects. Some travel, including overnight, may be required (20-40%).
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or Communications. Minimum of two to three years of experience in marketing or business development in a professional services environment (law firm experience strongly preferred). Superior written and oral communication skills and a demonstrated ability to interact with attorneys, colleagues and other stakeholders at all levels. Technological savvy in all Microsoft Office and Adobe Create Suite applications, with advanced skillset in Excel and Adobe InDesign. Positive work attitude and ability to collaborate in a team environment is a must.

Corporate/Real Estate Attorney

Stark & Stark, a prominent New Jersey law firm, offers an excellent opportunity for an attorney to be located in its Princeton office. Plaintiff's Personal Injury Paralegal

Stark & Stark has an immediate opening in its Princeton office for a certified experienced (5 years+) New Jersey plaintiff’s personal injury paralegal.  Must be able to handle a large volume of files from client interview through trial; work independently with minimal supervision; shift priorities as needed and work well with other staff. Mass tort experience a plus. Salary commensurate with experience.

Legal Secretary - Floater

Stark & Stark has an opening in its Lawrenceville, New Jersey office for an experienced Legal Secretary (3-5 years) to work as a "floater" and assist attorneys throughout the Lawrenceville office. Responsibilities also include receptionist and switchboard relief. Must be proficient in Word, Outlook and be willing to learn new software programs. Along with excellent telephone etiquette, the ideal candidate must project a positive attitude in person and on the phone and be able to prioritize work. Hours are Monday- Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with some flexibility to the schedule required.
