Joseph Gumina is an Associate and member of Stark & Stark’s Construction Litigation group, where he concentrates his practice in complex construction litigation involving community associations, developers, and other plaintiffs. Prior to joining Stark & Stark, Mr. Gumina served as a law clerk to The Honorable Andrew J. Smithson, J.S.C. of the Law Division- Civil Part- of the New Jersey Superior Court. During his clerkship, Mr. Gumina researched and drafted opinions on complex legal issues in a variety of case types, including defective workmanship claims, product liability, breach of contract claims, Consumer Fraud Act claims, breach of fiduciary duty claims, and insurance coverage disputes. Mr. Gumina also served as a certified mediator in the Special Civil Part.
