Joseph D. Visco is an Associate and member of the Divorce Group of Stark & Stark. He focuses his practice primarily on matrimonial and custody matters. Mr. Visco is an active member in the Family Law Division of the Bucks County Bar Association and is a member of the Continuing Legal Education Committee and the Dispute Resolution Committee. Mr. Visco frequently lectures on family law topics including "People's Law School," Family Law Continuing Education program sponsored by the Bucks County Bar Association and Bucks County Community College.  

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Visco was an Assistant District Attorney for the Bucks County District Attorney's Office where he served as Chief of the Consumer Protection Division.  In addition, as an Assistant District Attorney he was responsible for the prosecution of felony and misdemeanor criminal cases from inception and investigation to trial. He has authored briefs to the Pennsylvania Superior Court and United States District Court, and has argued before the Pennsylvania Superior Court.

After leaving the District Attorney's Office, Mr. Visco worked at a Trenton, New Jersey law firm where he gained valuable experience in matrimonial law.  He was also appointed Assistant Public Defender for Hamilton Township, New Jersey, where he provided legal representation for indigent defendants in municipal court.

Mr. Visco has gained valuable experience through his service as a police officer in Maui, Hawaii. While there, Mr. Visco served as an undercover narcotics officer, as well as a uniform patrol officer, and was repeatedly recognized for his outstanding performance and service.

In addition to the practice of law, Mr. Visco currently is an Adjunct Professor for Temple University where he lectures on the American legal system and the judicial process.

Mr. Visco also volunteers his time as a coach for Lenape Valley Pop Warner football and as a team captain for the United States Tennis Association.

Mr. Visco is a frequent contributor to the Pennsylvania Law Monitor.
