Michael J. Fekete is an Associate and member of Stark & Stark’s Business & Corporate Group, where he concentrates his practice on commercial litigation. Mr. Fekete has experience in matters involving breach of contract, breach of warranty, consumer fraud claims, commercial tenancy and collection actions, and defense of major on-line advertising institutions in litigation and other matters throughout the Eastern United States. Mr. Fekete assists and represents commercial Landlords in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. He also has been active with compliance issues under the New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor’s Act. In addition, Mr. Fekete has appeared before various New Jersey Township Zoning and Planning Boards in representation of clients on land use matters and variance applications.
Mr. Fekete regularly represents clients before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, Superior Court New Jersey and various Municipal Courts in New Jersey. Mr. Fekete has also handled matters in United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and various Common Pleas Courts in Pennsylvania.
Mr. Fekete is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association and Camden County Bar Association. For the past several years, Mr. Fekete has conducted various speaking engagements including an annual presentation to the Federal Judicial Externs at the United States District Court, District of New Jersey on associate life. Mr. Fekete was a presenter at the New Jersey Paralegals Association on the topic of E-discovery.
Prior to joining Stark & Stark, Mr. Fekete was an associate with Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll in Voorhees, New Jersey and served as the Law Clerk to the Honorable Joel B. Rosen, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He also served as the Law Clerk for the Honorable Raymond F. Drozdowski, J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey during 2001-2002 court term.
