Michael J. Fekete is an Associate and member of Stark & Stark’s Business & Corporate Group, where he concentrates his practice on commercial litigation. Mr. Fekete has experience in matters involving breach of contracts, breach of warranty, consumer fraud claims, commercial tenancy and collection actions, and defense of major on-line advertising institutions in litigation throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania.  He also has been active with compliance issues under the New Jersey Home Improvement Contractor’s Act.

Mr. Fekete regularly represents clients before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, Superior Court New Jersey and various Municipal Courts in New Jersey.  Mr. Fekete has also handled matters in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and various Common Pleas Courts in Pennsylvania.

Mr. Fekete is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association and Camden County Bar Association.  For the past several years, Mr. Fekete has conducted various speaking engagements including an annual presentation to the Federal Judicial Externs at the United States District Court, District of New Jersey on associate life.  Recently, Mr. Fekete was a presenter at the New Jersey Paralegals Association on the topic of E-discovery.  In addition, Mr. Fekete has authored an article entitled, Create the Right Lasting Impression, which appeared in the Summer Associate Outlook Supplement of the June 5, 2006 New Jersey Law Journal, and co-authored, New Rules For Eviction Proceedings, for the Real Estate and Construction Law Supplement of the New Jersey Law Journal in 2007.

Prior to joining Stark & Stark, Mr. Fekete was an associate with Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll in Voorhees, New Jersey and served as the Law Clerk to the Honorable Joel B. Rosen, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.  He also served as the Law Clerk for the Honorable Raymond F. Drozdowski, J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey during 2001-2002 court term.
