Robert L. Newman is a Shareholder and member of the Business & Corporate, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Litigation Groups where he concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, business matters, contractual issues, civil litigation and family law.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Newman was a partner with Newman & Weiner, LLC in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

Mr. Newman has served as a commercial arbitrator for the New Jersey Superior Court in Camden County and is currently a family law mediator as well as being a commercial mediator approved by the Supreme Court in the State of New Jersey. He has also been approved by the Superior Court of New Jersey, Burlington County as an arbitrator for commercial and personal injury matters.

Mr. Newman is currently a board member of the Burlington County Bar Foundation and the Cooper Hospital Foundation Annual Golf Outing.  Mr. Newman was also Chairman of a Panel of the Matrimonial Early Settlement Program, in Superior Court Burlington County from 1982-1995.  

In addition, Mr. Newman has lectured on business law, general legal matters and family law for both Camden County Community College and the Burlington County Bar Association.  Mr. Newman has over thirty five years experience in representation of automobile dealerships including Cadillac, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi, Volkswagen, Nissan and BMW for their legal requirements including, without limitation, mergers, acquisitions, negotiations with manufacturers, franchisor/franchisee relations as well as land use.  Mr. Newman is a long standing member of the National Association of Dealers Counsel.

In 2010 and 2011, Mr. Newman was honored by his inclusion in the list of Top Attorneys for Commercial Law  by SJ Magazine.*
