Alternative Dispute Resolution
The Stark & Stark Alternative Dispute Resolution practice is an example of our commitment to addressing business issues in a customized, efficient manner. The practice focuses on customized, creative, and satisfactory solutions.
The New Jersey Supreme Court in 1992 directed all lawyers to "become familiar with available dispute resolution programs and inform their clients of them." At Stark & Stark we have an active Dispute Resolution practice area, because we recognize the potential importance of Mediation and Arbitration in resolving disputes between parties and as a vital component of any litigation practice.
Services
Our group consists of three certified Civil Trial Attorneys and four attorneys named to the roster of mediators for the statewide Mediation Program for Civil, General Equity and Probate matters, established by the Judiciary of the State of New Jersey. Our Alternative Dispute Resolution attorneys appreciate the practical realities of mediation and the enormous potential to fashion creative mediated solutions. We have served as counsel in mediated settlements totaling several million dollars.
Our business-focused culture allows us to bring the skills needed to effectively manage Alternative Dispute Resolution across a wide variety of industries, and vertically through our other practice areas. Our Alternative Dispute Resolution attorneys have participated in mediation involving construction litigation, environmental, real estate, defamation, condominium transition, insurance coverage, matrimonial and a wide range of general commercial matters.
