Employee Theft Seminar
The law firm of Stark & Stark is pleased to announce it will hold a seminar entitled “Employee Theft: How To Protect Your Company”, with the accounting firm of Cowan Gunteski & CO, PA.
This half-day seminar will feature Kevin M. Hart, Esq., Shareholder in the Litigation Group of Stark & Stark, and Marshall A. Morris, Principal of Cowan Gunteski & Co. Mr. Hart and Mr. Morris will discuss their experiences working with companies to uncover, remedy and prevent employee theft. They will address the scope of the problem, how to deal with employee theft, common myths and misconceptions, and ways to prevent and detect employee theft in your own company.
Mr. Hart has more than 25 years of experience litigating civil and criminal cases in both federal and state courts. Mr. Hart focuses on representing businesses and their directors and officers in matters including investigating and prosecuting embezzlement, criminal and securities fraud, shareholder and franchise disputes and corporate break-ups.
Mr. Morris has more than 30 years of experience in investigative accounting and litigation support services. He specializes in accounting malpractice, business valuation, damage calculation, discovery of hidden assets, embezzlement, funds flow tracing, fraud, and union pension fraud investigation. Mr. Morris has hands-on case experience in the financial operations of businesses in numerous industries.
The seminar will be held from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Thursday March 22, 2007 at the Hyatt Regency Princeton. Registration will begin at 8:30 AM, and a continental breakfast and lunch will be served.
